这一个礼拜，我一直在为比赛做准备，可是因为图片太多了，时间又紧张，所以我只准备了其中的10多幅图片。

星期六下午，妈妈陪我去参加英语比赛。抽签的时候，我看见我准备的图片都被别的小朋友一张张抽走了，心里有点儿紧张。轮到我了，果然，我抽到了一幅没有准备过图片，我想：“这下可完了，真倒霉！可是，都已经到了，也没办法了，只能再努力准备一下了。”上场的'时候，我不再紧张，我大方地做了自我介绍，并唱了一首英语歌，看图说话开始了，大屏幕上出示了图片，老师把话筒递给我。我先介绍了图片上的人物，在介绍他们在干什么，30秒中里面，我大概说了八、九个句子。

比赛结束了，妈妈表扬我发挥的很好。不知道会不会进绍兴市的比赛，但是不管结果如何，这都是一次很好的经历。

我想在下一次的考试中考得一个好成绩，回到家后，我把我的成绩告诉了爸爸，爸爸得知我的英语没有考好，便好好的打了我一顿，我更加在心里对自己大声的说，下次考试一定要考好，我开始为了下次能考个好成绩而拼搏，开始背单词，锻炼耐力。为了锻炼我的耐心，我找一个针和一个线头，把线穿进针孔里，提高我的耐心，终于在新的一轮英语考试中得到了一个高分。

第一次英语没考好，我并没有放弃，正是因为第一次我没考好，所以在以后的考试中我都会耐心地写卷子，会得到一个高分。虽然事情已经过去很多年了，可是每当我想起来，脸上仍会露出会心的微笑。
